This is an example of a Legal Contract project.

What I Require:

I entered into a construction contract with one of my neighbours. I own a construction company that can effectively do the job. They want to have their house renovated since it’s now old and small. They are requiring me to destroy half of the house and rebuild it using latest materials. The problem is that we just entered into a verbal contract and there was no formal contract between us. I now fear that my neighbour will take advantage of me and not pay me for the full job. This fear has been aroused by the fact that he is always in debt.

I require the help of a service provider with the following information:

• Is a verbal contract legal?
• Without writing the terms and conditions of the contract down, will this make the contract void?
• If the neighbour refuses payment, how I am supposed to handle it.
• In the case that l do not finish building the house due to factors like lack of manpower, what are my rights under a verbal agreement?
• If l am allowed to cancel the contract what remedies are going to apply.

Skills Required:

I need a service provider that can draft me a contract that I can get signed before I commence any more work for my neighbour. The contract should also take into consideration the work already complete stating that all work both before and after signing the document will be paid for upon completion of job.

How I Will pay:

I have a budget with a maximum of $50. I will pay you half on delivery and the other half based on the validity of the document.
